Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the sale of products by SP Peptides (“we”, “us”, “our”) of 90 York Way, London, England, N1 9AG, via the website sppeptides.com (the “Site”).
By placing an order through the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not place an order.
1. Research use only — critical condition of sale
1.1. All products sold on this Site are supplied strictly as research chemicals and laboratory reagents for in-vitro research and laboratory use only.
1.2. Products are not for human consumption, and are not sold for human or veterinary use of any kind, including ingestion, injection, topical application, or any other form of administration to humans or animals.
1.3. Products are not medicines, medical devices, foods, food supplements, or cosmetics, and nothing on this Site should be interpreted as a claim that any product can diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, or produce any physiological effect in humans or animals.
1.4. By placing an order, you confirm that:
- (a) you are aged 18 or over;
- (b) you are purchasing the products solely for lawful research purposes;
- (c) you will not use, or permit any other person to use, the products for human or animal consumption or administration;
- (d) you have the knowledge, training, and facilities to handle research chemicals safely; and
- (e) you accept full responsibility for the safe handling, storage, use, and disposal of the products after delivery.
1.5. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where we have reason to believe the products are intended for human consumption or any other unlawful or unauthorised purpose.
2. Ordering and contract formation
2.1. Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email.
2.2. We may decline any order at our discretion, including where a product is out of stock, where there is a pricing error, or where we suspect the intended use breaches clause 1.
2.3. All products are subject to availability.
3. Prices and payment
3.1. Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
3.2. Payment is taken at the time of order via our payment provider. Payment is made by bank transfer through an FCA-authorised open banking provider; we do not collect or store your card details or bank credentials.
3.3. If a pricing error is discovered after you place an order, we will contact you with the correct price and give you the option to proceed or cancel with a full refund.
4. Delivery
4.1. Delivery is described in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
4.2. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery. Title passes when payment is received in full.
5. Cancellations, returns, and refunds
5.1. Your cancellation and return rights are described in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
5.2. For quality and integrity reasons, research chemicals that have been unsealed after delivery cannot be returned. This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described.
6. Product information and certificates of analysis
6.1. Product descriptions state the chemical identity, purity, quantity, and form of each product for research identification purposes only. No description on this Site constitutes a claim about effects in humans or animals.
6.2. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is available for each product batch. COAs describe analytical results only and do not constitute any warranty of suitability for a particular research purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
7.1. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
7.2. Subject to clause 7.1, we shall have no liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from any use of the products contrary to clause 1, including any use involving administration to humans or animals. Such use is expressly outside the intended and agreed purpose of the products.
7.3. Subject to clause 7.1, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order shall not exceed the price paid for that order, and we shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against all claims, losses, and costs arising from your breach of clause 1, including any use or supply of the products for human or animal consumption.
9. Intellectual property
All content on the Site, including text, images, and branding, is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without our written permission.
10. Privacy
Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. General
11.1. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
11.2. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your order.
11.3. We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your order applies to that order.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts.
